A BAPE jacket seemingly inspired by the cadet coat—a type of coat issued to officer cadets in military academies, such as those for the army or air force. Made from a mix of wool and polyester, the simple zip-up style is beautifully accented by the bold white BAPE letters on the chest.
A BATHING APE is a Japanese street fashion brand. The founder, NIGO, opened a store in Harajuku in 1993, and the brand began. Since the founder was a big fan of monkey-themed movies, he designed many items with monkey motifs. Currently, NIGO is the designer of KENZO.
